Robogals are
an international university run organisation that aims to engage school
children in engineering, robotics and computers. The long term goals of the
organisation are to increase enrolments in engineering, science and technology.
Robogals have
been featured on many Primetime TV shows including The Project and the ABC.
In the
workshops the children are taught to construct and program LEGO NXT robotic
kits, the lessons have been tailored in a way to remain fun, creative and
informative.
Marita Cheng

Chapters worldwide. In 2012 Marita was recognised for her work with Robogals
and won the Young Australian of the Year.
